FB Referee App is developed and maintained by IPL Union, based in the United Kingdom. This privacy policy explains how our app handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand exactly how your data is managed.

💾 Data Collection & Storage

FB Referee App operates entirely offline and stores the following information locally on your device only:

🔒 What We DON'T Collect

• ❌ No personal identification information beyond what you choose to enter
• ❌ No location data or GPS information
• ❌ No device identifiers or tracking data
• ❌ No analytics or usage statistics
• ❌ No advertising identifiers
• ❌ No photos or media from your device
• ❌ No contact information or address book access
• ❌ No network or internet data transmission

📤 Data Export & Sharing

The app provides a CSV export feature that allows you to:

• Generate match reports in CSV format
• Save reports to your device's Documents folder
• Share reports via iOS native share sheet (email, messages, etc.)

Important: When you choose to share exported reports, you control where and with whom this data is shared. The app itself does not automatically send data anywhere.

🛡️ Data Security

Your match data is protected by:

• iOS native security features and sandboxing
• Device-level encryption when your device is locked
• No external network connections that could expose data
• SwiftData framework for secure local storage

🗑️ Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual match records within the app
• Remove specific events (goals, cards, etc.) from matches
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all stored data
• All data is immediately and permanently deleted when removed

⚖️ Legal Basis & Compliance

As a UK-based company, IPL Union complies with:

• UK Data Protection Act 2018
• UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
• Apple App Store Privacy Guidelines

Since we don't collect personal data, most data protection regulations have minimal applicability. However, we maintain this privacy policy for transparency.

👶 Children's Privacy

FB Referee App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The app can be safely used by referees of all ages. Parents and guardians can be assured that no data is collected from or about children.

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
